Forced Labor, Trafficking, Slavery

Overview

The Ikoku Holdings is committed to ensuring work and equivalent activity are based on the consent, dignity and respect of persons, and thus strictly prohibits forced or involuntary labor,Ā human or sex trafficking, and enslavement or slavery.

Therefore, persons engaged in any activity involving, referring to, relating to, or otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Holdings are expected to uphold the following:

Labor as Neither Trafficked nor Forced

— that The Ikoku Holdings shall not traffic persons or use bonded, enslaved, forced, indentured, prison or slave labor.

Work as Voluntary and Consented

— that The Ikoku Holdings ensure all work is voluntary and engaged in via informed consent.

Work with Contracts Written and Signed

— that The Ikoku Holdings ensure that each and every employee, partner, worker, contractor, freelancer, volunteer and equivalent agent or third party have and sign a written contract, that such contract clearly convey the specific nature, role, duties and responsibilities as well as terms and conditions of employment or arrangement, relationship and workĀ in a language understood by each signatory, and that the described arrangement, relationship and work commence only after said contract is signed and consented to by each said signatory.

Others with Contracts Written and Signed

— that The Ikoku Holdings require that each and every paid and unpaid person, agent or third party providing continuous or occasional services to The Ikoku Holdings — including but not limited to cases of care, consulting, education, research, technical services, training, writing, or other equivalent work or services arrangement — alsoĀ have and sign a written contract and that such contract clearly convey the specific nature, role, duties and responsibilities as well as terms and conditions of the arrangement, relationship and services in a language understood by each signatory, and that the arrangement, relationship and services commence only after said contract is signed and consented to by each said signatory.

Work with Authorization and Approval

— that The Ikoku Holdings require and ensure any and all work or equivalent arrangements and their positions are authorized by express written instrument signed and sealed of Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the sole Founder and Owner.

— that The Ikoku Holdings require and ensure any and all contracts are approved by express written instrument signed and sealed by Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the sole Founder and Owner.

Prohibited Employment Practices

— that The Ikoku Holdings not engage in practices such as the blacklisting, employment, harboring, receipt, recruitment, transportation or transfer of persons by means of abduction, abuse, coercion, deception, duress, force, fraud, manipulation, threat, trickery, or payments (in monies or in kind) to any person having control over another person for the purpose of exploitation.

Prohibited Documents Withholding

— that The Ikoku Holdings not withhold workers’ original government-issued identification, travel documents, or equivalent papers.

Prohibited Fees Payments

— that The Ikoku Holdings notĀ require any workers, volunteers, or other agents to pay education, instruction, recruitment, training or wellness fees, or other similar fees, charged by any employers or their agents, to obtain or maintain their employment or other equivalent arrangement.

— that if such fees are found to have been paid by a worker, volunteer, or other agent, such fees shall be repaid to the worker, volunteer, or agent.

Prohibited Movement Restrictions

— that The Ikoku Holdings not impose on a worker, volunteer, or agent unreasonable restrictions on movement upon entering or exiting company-provided facilities or within workplace areas authorized via contract for their work, training, or other arrangement.

Accordance with Ethics

— that The Ikoku Holdings ensure following any and all of the above principles further remains in accordance with the Codes and Policies and especially the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics.

Accordance with Mission

— that The Ikoku Holdings ensure following any and all of the above principles further remains in accordance with theĀ founding mission and purposes of The Ikoku Holdings and The Ikoku Group, without incompatibility, as described and delineated in the Codes and Policies and the Founder’s Agreement.

The Ikoku Holdings strongly recommends you develop and maintain your knowledge of all the Codes and Policies, and so asks that you read, understand, and regularly visit this section and other communications regarding the Policy on Forced Labor, Trafficking and Slavery, as well as the Codes and Policies. The Ikoku Holdings takes your continued access, activity, communication, engagement, operation, participation, and other use or visiting of the Products and Services, as active indication of your knowledge, understanding, and legally binding acceptance of and agreement to this Policy as well as the Codes and Policies.

Your Duty to Organizational Integrity

With respect to your attendant duty to organizational integrity — and your legally binding agreement to not diminish, interfere, or violate, in any way, its principles, protections, requirements, or rights — you represent and warrant that you understand and shall adhere to the following:

To protect the organizational integrity of The Ikoku HoldingsĀ and The Ikoku Group — as well as the properties, rights, and protections of the company division and its official persons — The Ikoku HoldingsĀ requires all natural and legal persons concerned to read, understand, abide by and, where applicable, sign contracts and agreements delineated and described in the Policy on CompanyĀ and Division Integrity.
Your Acceptance of Policy
The Ikoku HoldingsĀ reminds you that the Policy on CompanyĀ and Division Integrity forms part of The Ikoku HoldingsĀ User Agreement and Code of Conduct. Thus, The Ikoku HoldingsĀ takes your continued engagement in any activity involving, referring, relating, or otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Holdings as active indication of your legally binding acceptance of this Policy as well as the Codes and Policies.
Your Acceptance of Sole Ownership
Furthermore, you represent, warrant, and covenant that, given the above, your continuation in using or visiting, in any way, The Ikoku Holdings, any activities, affairs, areas, assets, offices, parts, properties, sections, or equivalent ofĀ The Ikoku Holdings, any activities, affairs, areas, assets, offices, parts, properties, sections, or equivalent of the divisions, series, subsidiaries, or affiliates, as well as any activities, affairs, areas, assets, offices, parts, properties, sections, or equivalent of the Products or Services, is an active indication of your legally binding acceptance of the sole administration, control, management, and ownership of The Ikoku HoldingsĀ by the Founder, Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, as further described in the Policy on Company and Division Integrity.

And you further legally accept and agree that no application, interpretation, judgment, or other compliance, proceeding, or reading from, of, with, or otherwise relating to the Founding Ethics, the Codes and Policies, or any equivalent code, policy, or other document or material shall, in any way, entail any abrogation, diminishment, interference, or violation pertaining to any of the terms, conditions, principles, requirements, rights — including the attendant properties and protections — of company and organizational integrity.
